AWA Studios, also known as Artists, Writers & Artisans, is an independent comic book publisher founded in November 2018 by Axel Alonso, Bill Jemas, and Jonathan F. Miller1. Based in New York City, AWA Studios aims to create a creator-first company where diverse and talented artists, writers, and artisans can produce their best work while retaining ownership of their ideas.
